As a member you will receive a weekly juicy newsletter with the newest diving specials and exclusive discounts. Make sure you don’t miss out on our limited diving specials! You can also unsubscribe from our newsletter. Better be fast! Our diving specials are limited and expire after some time! Book now your preferred bungalow or cabin and simply invite your dive buddies to join your next dive adventure!

Q. Why is DivingSpecials.com able to offer discounts up to 50%?

DivingSpecials.com cooperates directly with resorts, dive centers and equipment manufacturers circumventing costs of intermediary agents or suppliers. Diving Specials works on exclusive offers for its members. The platform passes on any discount to its members. Consequently, DivingSpecials.com is able to come up with price differences of up to 50% versus usual travel agents or dive retailers.

Q. What is DivingSpecials.com?

DivingSpecials.com offers an exciting selection of worldwide dive trips, activities and equipment at discounts of up to 50%. We put great emphasis on your diving pleasure as well as your safety by working with carefully selected and qualitative dive partners around the globe. Our diving specials are limited in availability and will be gone after some time! You can be invited by a current member of Diving Specials. The membership is for free.

Q. Can I cancel my membership?

Your membership can be cancelled at any time and without an explanation. Of course, we will be very unhappy to see you leave our scuba diving community!

Q. Is the membership for free?

Your membership at DivingSpecials.com is and will remain for free. Your membership is not linked to any purchase obligation.

Q. How can I become a member?

The registration to become a member of Diving Specials is very easy and takes you only few moments. You can get invited by your dive buddy who is a member of our platform. After a short confirmation of your email address you are able to “LOGIN” and shop our exciting diving specials.

Q. Why should I add specials to my favourite list?

Add a special to your favourite list to keep a better overview of your preferred specials.

Q. How can I change my newsletter subscriptions?

We are very sorry, that you wish to unsubscribe from our diving specials newsletter. Unsubsription is easy! Go to your email newsletter and click on the field “unsubscribe” at the bottom. We are still happy to have you as our customer. Log in regularly to check out our newest diving specials!

Q. How can I change my email address?

After you have logged on to DivingSpecials.com you can change your personal information via Dashboard – My Account by clicking on “Edit Profile”.

Q. How can I change my personal data, e.g. billing address?

After you have logged on to DivingSpecials.com you can change your personal information via Dashboard – My Account by clicking on “Edit Profile”. If you wish to change your billing or shipping address for individual orders, do so during the shopping process after having added orders to your “Shopping Cart”.

Q. How can I reset or change my password?

Did you forget your password? No worries! You can reset your password via the “LOGIN” button and “FORGOT PASSWORD?”. After you have inserted your email address (the same as for registration) we will resend an email with a link to reset your password. If you wish to change your password, go to your Dashboard - My Settings.

Q. Is my data safe with DivingSpecials.com?

Diving Specials GmbH is committed to protecting the privacy of members of this site. Our privacy policy is in conformity with the German Data Protection Act (“Bundesdatenschutzgesetz” or “BDSG”) as well as the German Media Act (“Telemediengesetz” or “TMG”). DIVING SPECIALS

Q. How can I use a voucher?

Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive an email with the details of your order. The email will include a link to “My Orders” at the platform so you can print your voucher from your account. If you prefer to go paperless, you can always pull up your voucher on your mobile device. The voucher will include all necessary information for your diving activities or package.

Q. We have children; can we get extra beds/cribs in the room?

Children and extra bedsare not included in the specials and need to be addressed before the trip takes place. You can always contact us to confirm availability before you book via Service@DivingSpecials.com, Contact Us or Live Chat

Q. Are sales taxes (VAT) included?

Local value-added taxes are usually included in the final price. The appropriate charges will be added to your merchandise total and displayed on the checkout screen. Check the individual diving package details to see if you will owe additional taxes or fees upon arrival or at check-in.

INVITE DIVE BUDDIES

Q. Can I recommend your platform to my friends?

We are very proud, if you recommend our website to your dive buddies! You can invite dive buddies via Dashboard – Invite Dive Buddies by using your facebook account or by sending them an email with your personal message. Furthermore, you can recommend individual diving specials to your dive buddies and plan your next dive adventure togethe via the following symbol: 

Q. How can I invite friends to DivingSpecials.com?

There are two options of how to invite your friends via Dashboard – Invite Dive Buddies:

(i) “Invitation By Facebook”: you can easily add your dive buddies via your facebook account or

(ii) “Invitation By Email”: send your dive friends an inspiring message to join DivingSpecials.com and profit together from exclusive diving specials.

Please don’t forget to separate different email addresses by a comma. The category “View Joined Dive Buddies” will show you who has followed your invitation. You can manage your dive buddy network by suggesting great dive trips or weekend activities in order to spend unforgettable dive moments together. We reward our most active members with large dive buddy networks with a yearly special gift – get excited!

Q. Can I delete members of my network?

You can manage your dive buddy network via “View Joined Dive Buddies” and delete individual members from your dive buddy list so they won’t see your activities.

Q. How can I get travel budget by inviting my friends?

You can invite your dive buddies using your facebook network or by email. Once you have invited your friends to join Diving Specials, your friend receives a notification by facebook message or by email. Your friend can follow the invitation and sign up for free at our website www.divingspecials.com. Your friend will be directly connected to your profile. If your friend(s) book a trip with us the first time, you will be granted a € 50 coupon for your own dive vacation.

The coupon of € 50 is applicable for each friend who books with us the first time. For instance, if 10 friends have been invited by you and book for the first time, you will be granted a € 500 coupon for your own dive vacation.

The coupon will be found automatically at the shopping cart.

The coupon has no expiry date and can be used for any travel related service by Diving Specials. The coupon cannot be paid out in cash and is not transferable to any other person.

SHOPPING CART

Q. How can I order?

Placing your order is very simple! Once you have found a diving special you love, just add it to your shopping cart! You will need to confirm the billing (potentially shipping) address and proceed to the payment. Once you have chosen your payment option and inserted the payment details you will be taken to an order summary to finally place your order. We will send you an immediate email confirmation.

Q. Where can I see the status of my order?

Once you have successfully placed your order you can see the status via Dashboard – My Orders. You will receive information about the recent status. Furthermore, you can click on “View Details” to review all information of your purchased diving special.

Q. Can I cancel an order?

Diving Equipment If you wish to cancel your diving equipment order, please contact us via Service@DivingSpecials.com, Contact Us or Live Chat. with your order number or simply send back the purchased item within two weeks (see also How Can I Return My Dive Equipment).

Diving Activities and Packages The cancellation of diving activities and packages (e.g. diving trip to the Maldives) is dependent on our dive partners. Please also review our Terms and Conditionsfor the cancellation policy as well as the Fine Print and Details of the diving special. In the case of diving packages you can include a travel withdrawal insurance or find another buddy to replace you and change the traveler’s name. You can always address our customer support via Service@DivingSpecials.com, Contact Us or Live Chat with your questions before and after your booking.

PAYMENT PROCESS

Q. When do I need to pay my orders?

The order for diving activities and equipment will be due immediately. Diving packages require a pre-booking amount to reserve the trip for you. The full amount will be due at a later point. You will receive an email confirming you pre-payment and final amount due.

Q. I am entering my credit card details. When will I be charged?

In the case of diving activities and equipment we will charge 100% of your order (amount payable) right away. If you have added a diving package (e.g. diving trip to the Maldives) to your shopping cart, we will charge a pre-booking amount (deposit) as a percentage of the overall package price in most cases.

Q. Which payment options do I have?

During the shopping process you can pay via your credit card or Paypal account. Please understand that your order will only be fulfilled after we have received your payment.

Q. Are my payments safe?

DivingSpecials.com puts great emphasis on your security. During the registration process you will be asked to provide certain personal information, which we automatically involve in your shopping process. All personal data are subject to strict confidentiality according to the German Data Protection Law (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz). The online payment process is encoded via Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which guarantees the safe data transfer.

DELIVERY

Q. How long does the delivery take?

DivingSpecials.com works directly with equipment manufacturers. Orders will be forwarded after the diving special has expired. By doing so we are able to avoid additional costs for storage or intermediary agents enabling us to pass on higher discounts to our customers. Delivery time can vary depending on the individual item. On average delivery will take 2-3 weeks. You will receive an email with your delivery status.

Q. How are you delivering purchased articles?

We guarantee our customers an easy and comfortable shopping experience. Your order will be safely packaged by our logistics partner and send to your home. High-class products deserve high-class packaging. We put great emphasis on the fact that your dive equipment will arrive undamaged.

Q. What are the costs involved for delivery?

Logistics costs may vary depending on the purchased item and country of delivery. On average delivery costs account for € 1.9 within Germany and € 2.6 to Austria. If you add a specific item to the shopping cart, you will see the shipping cost for your shipping address.

Q. Do you deliver outside of Germany?

Yes, we deliver internationally! Delivery takes place within the European Union. Specific rates for international shipping will apply. Please review details on the diving specials for scuba diving equipment.

REPLACEMENT & RETURN

Q. How can I return a voucher for diving activities?

We are always here to help! In the case you are unhappy with your voucher for diving activities, please address our customer support via Service@DivingSpecials.com, Contact Us or Live Chat. We have a number of ways to come to your aid, depending on the reason you’re asking:

  • “I just changed my mind.” Any unredeemed voucher may not be returned for a refund. All sales are final.
  • “I redeemed my voucher and was disappointed in my experience.” We always want you to have a great experience with us. We will work with you to make it right or give you a refund.
  • “I tried to redeem my voucher for the amount paid and the business refused to honor it.” Contact us and we will make sure you can redeem your voucher as stated in the Fine Print or give you a refund.
Q. How can I return a voucher for diving packages?

The cancellation of a diving package depends on our business partners' terms and conditions. Generally, once you have booked a package deal, you will be bound to consume your trip. We recommend the following:

(i) Travel withdrawal insurance: this insurance will refund your travel costs in case of adverse conditions like illness and is valid for you and your partner. 

(ii) Being replaced: you can always find another dive buddy, who would be willing to go on the trip instead of you and change the traveler’s name. For further questions please contact our customer support via Service@DivingSpecials.com, Contact Us or Live Chat.

Q. How can I return my purchases?

You can return almost any item you purchased directly from us within 14 days of receipt. This includes items that arrive damaged, defective, or missing parts. If you wish to return your dive equipment, please send us a message with your order number to Service@DivingSpecials.com.  For further information on returning purchased items please review our Terms & Conditions.

Q. Do I have a warranty on dive equipment?

Our dive equipment is subject to legally prescribed warranties. If you order something that does not match its description on the site, you may return it unused and sealed in the original packaging as described under “How can I return my purchases”. If your purchased article is damaged or defective, please contact our customer support via Service@DivingSpecials.com. We are happy to help you!

Q. When and how do I get my money back?

If your purchase qualifies for a refund and you’ve followed the return instructions (contact us!), we will refund the amount you paid shortly after receipt. While refunds to your credit card or Paypal account are typically issued quickly, please allow up to 30 days from the date you return the product. Applicable shipping charges and cancellation fees may be deducted from your refund. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the speed of money transfer. Please consult your bank for further information.
